My profile as a civil engineer, specializing in building construction techniques and master’s degree in diagnosis and intervention techniques in building, together with research training through the completion projects and participation as an attendee at congresses, seminars and postgraduate studies, reflect my dedication to research and the advancement of knowledge in the area of specialization. I have acquired a wide range of skills and mastered cutting-edge technologies crucial in my field from research and field construction work. My scientific interests have concentrated on obtaining results for sustainable applications in construction, such as mortar studies in adobe (earth) construction and studies for the use of recycled aggregates with lime binders for use in exterior paving. My current focus is on doctoral research applying my technical and analytical expertise to address fundamental issues in obtaining alkaline activated cements using as main precursor the slag from urban waste incinerators to contribute within the circular economy and closing a cycle of environmental pollution.
