Biography Summary

I am a Materials Engineer with a strong interest in developing materials with novel and multifunctional properties. My research focuses on magnetic materials for high-frequency applications, particularly in stealth and radar-absorbing technologies.

I began my academic career in 2015, when I joined the Engineering and Applied Sciences PhD Program at the Universitat de Barcelona under the supervision of Prof. Javier Tejada and Prof. Mercè Segarra. My doctoral research centered on the synthesis, structural characterization, and functional property analysis of advanced magnetic materials. I completed my PhD in 2019 with honors, and in 2023 I was awarded the Extraordinary PhD Award from the Universitat de Barcelona in recognition of the quality and impact of my work.

In December 2019, I moved to Metz, France, to undertake a postdoctoral position within a collaborative project between CentraleSupélec and Georgia Tech Europe. During this period, I focused on the development of THz-based techniques for the non-destructive evaluation of materials, particularly composite systems, integrating experimental measurements with advanced signal processing strategies.

In 2021, I returned to the Universitat de Barcelona as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Part-Time Lecturer to launch a new research line on magnetic materials for radar absorption, once again collaborating with Prof. Tejada. Since 2024, I have held a Serra Húnter Lecturer position (equivalent to Assistant Professor) at the Universitat de Barcelona, within the DIOPMA research group. In this role, I combine teaching with the development of new research directions in advanced functional materials.

Through my work, I aim to bridge fundamental materials science and applied electromagnetic technologies, contributing to the design of next-generation materials for RF and high-frequency applications.
