Researcher in Sustainable Construction Materials
The main research area in which he works is the development of new construction materials, which are environmentally friendly.
The aim of his investigation is developing sustainable materials, recycling and valorising different by-products for the production of construction materials such as cement.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
2022 – Present: Research assistant at the University of Barcelona in the DIOPMA research group.
Development of concretes with different admixtures (magnesium oxide, CSP). Study of concrete expansion. New formulation of alkali-activated cement from mechanochemical activation of natural clays.
EDUCATION:
2021 – 2022: Master’s degree in Applied Materials Chemistry (University of Barcelona).
Master’s thesis: Preparation of MXene-based catalysts by hydrothermal synthesis.
2016 – 2021: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (University of Barcelona).
