Energy efficient usage is the key issue for the challenging decarbonizing goals in the following 20 years. Renewable energy technologies are intensive in materials, meaning that a lot of research and innovation is needed to achieve sustainable solutions to the energy transition. The importance of development of innovative energy materials and processes is well recognized for efficient energy systems. Moreover, energy storage is a key enabling technology in order to the industry to meet these ambitious goals.
IMPRES 2022 symposium is organized in this format to foster networking and to share new concepts and new ideas for the innovative materials and processes in energy systems. Symposium will take place from October 25-27 of 2022 at the University of Barcelona historical building:
Additionally, during October 28 of 2022 Innoday will take place at Faculty of Chemistry of University of Barcelona:
About IMPRES
The first IMPRES was organized for keen discussion for the materials in Kyoto, Japan, in 2007. The IMPRES were took over fortunately in every three years at Singapore (2010), Fukuoka (2013), Sicily (2016) and Kanazawa (2019).The evolution of the innovative materials and change of required specification of the materials are progressed rapidly in the last decade. The IMPRES is required to seek the ways for pursuing the material and process development and to adopt constantly with technology innovations and social changes.
